Adjust individual speaker controls

Before you begin

Select compatible outputs on Control. Understand whether you are controlling a PairChord route or the direct Windows default endpoint.

Step by step

1. Adjust master volume or mute to change PairChord’s routed mix.
2. Use each output’s volume slider and mute button to set its level independently.
3. Open Device settings to adjust left/right balance or choose stereo, mono mixdown, left only, right only, or swapped channels.
4. Adjust routed delay when needed, and assign an EQ preset from the same output settings.
5. Use a nickname to make a device easier to recognize. Reset its settings if you want to start again.

Check the result

Each routed output retains its individual sound controls. The safety limiter remains active after routed gain and EQ, but comfortable volume is still your responsibility.

If something goes wrong

Default-output volume and mute affect the supported Windows endpoint. PairChord EQ, balance, channel processing, and delay do not intercept its direct playback. Check whether the sound you hear is direct Windows audio or a routed output before changing controls.
