Routing & synchronization
Assign different applications to outputs
Route a supported Windows application to a particular speaker or headset.

Before you begin
This feature requires compatible Windows application capture. Start the applications you want to capture, and connect the destination outputs.
Step by step
- On Control, refresh the running-application list if your application is not shown.
- Open a routed output’s Device settings and choose its application audio source.
- Repeat for another output if you want a different application there.
- Play the source applications and check each output’s activity, volume, and mute state.
Check the result
Each supported routed output uses its assigned application instead of the shared Control source. Capture is process-based and subject to source-app policy.
If something goes wrong
Chrome windows and tabs can share audio processes: different process IDs do not guarantee independent tab capture. If a source exits, choose an available source again; PairChord does not silently replace it with all system audio. These assignments are not compatible with Auto Optimize.
