01About these terms
These terms describe purchases and permitted use of PairChord, provided by Odeysoft Technology, registration 202203217573 (IP0575648-T), Malaysia. Read them before purchasing or activating a license.
The software license agreement also governs use of the application. For purchases made under these terms, the refund and device restrictions below are the current purchase policy. They do not retrospectively remove rights under an earlier purchase agreement. Contact us before purchasing if the documents supplied to you differ.
02Refund policy
If your license has not been activated, you may request a full refund. Once the license has been activated, refunds are not offered, except where required by applicable law.
Deactivating the software does not make an activated license eligible for a refund. Send refund enquiries with your purchase email and order reference to [email protected]. Do not post your license key publicly.
Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts mandatory consumer rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
03One license, one computer
Each license is tied to the computer on which it is activated. Device transfers are not supported. A reset or reinstallation does not create a right to transfer or rebind a license. Contact support before resetting your computer or changing hardware; reactivation is not guaranteed.
Deactivation does not authorize a transfer to another computer. Each additional computer requires a separate license. Connected speakers and audio outputs are not separate licensed devices.
Keep your license key private. You must not share, sell, rent, sublicense or distribute it to another person or organization.
04Prices and license terms
Yearly costs RM9.99 for one year. Lifetime costs RM59.99. Both include the same PairChord features, subject to operating-system capabilities and device compatibility.
Both plans are one-time payments with no automatic renewal or recurring charge. A fixed-term license ends on its stated expiry date. Lifetime means the supported commercial lifetime of PairChord, not a guarantee of perpetual updates, services or future compatibility.
Review the price, term and any applicable taxes before paying. Trial requests are reviewed separately; submitting a request does not grant a license or promise a particular trial duration.
05Activation and verification
Activation requires your purchase email, license key, an internet connection and acceptance of the software license agreement. Online verification is required at startup and periodically during use, including for Lifetime licenses.
A connection failure may prevent verification or licensed processing after the time-limited certificate expires. A downloaded installer, payment return page or trial request alone is not proof of an active license.
06Permitted use and ownership
PairChord is licensed, not sold. Odeysoft Technology and its licensors retain rights in the software, documentation and branding. Resale and redistribution rights are not granted.
Use the software and website lawfully. Do not infringe others’ rights, capture or distribute audio without required permission, introduce malware, gain unauthorized access or interfere with security or licensing controls.
Except where applicable law permits, do not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, extract protected source code, remove proprietary notices or circumvent technical protections. Rights granted by third-party component licenses remain unaffected.
07Data and privacy
Audio processing and app settings remain on your computer; audio is not uploaded to the licensing service. Licensing sends your purchase email, license key, one-way device fingerprint, device name, operating-system information, app version and agreement acceptance metadata. The server also observes the request IP address.
Purchases, trial requests and support enquiries involve information you supply for those purposes. Payment and other independent services have their own terms and data practices. This page does not claim that all app or website data stays on your device, and does not incorporate another product’s privacy policy.
Direct privacy questions to [email protected]. You are responsible for the permissions, consent and lawful use of audio and other information you process.
08Compatibility and remote control
Synchronization depends on hardware, drivers, Bluetooth conditions, source applications and the operating system. PairChord does not guarantee zero latency, perfect synchronization or compatibility with every device or protected source. Test your intended setup before relying on it.
Optional browser remote control uses unencrypted HTTP and is intended only for a trusted private network. Protect its PIN or password, choose suitable access durations and never expose the sharing address to the public internet. Audio continues to play on the computer’s outputs.
09Warranties and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PairChord is provided as is and as available, without a guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation. You are responsible for your devices, backups, configuration and use of independent services.
Subject to rights that cannot legally be excluded, the Provider is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, including lost profits or data. The software license agreement sets out the applicable warranty exclusions and liability limits. Nothing here removes a mandatory legal remedy.
10Updates and changes
Fixes, features, supported versions and third-party services may change. Updates to these website terms will carry a new revision date. Material changes to the software license agreement may require explicit acceptance in the application.
Review the terms supplied with your purchase and keep a copy. A website update alone is not a record of your acceptance or an automatic change to an earlier purchase agreement.
11Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Courts of competent jurisdiction in Malaysia may hear disputes, unless mandatory consumer law gives you the right to use another forum. Statutory rights that cannot be excluded remain unaffected.
