Compare speakers and fine-tune delay
Use a synchronized pulse and a reference output to make a listening adjustment.

Before you begin
Connect at least two outputs and select the routed target on Control. The Windows default output may be the reference. Keep levels comfortable; test signals can be noticeable.
Step by step
- Open Calibration. Choose a reference output and a different routed target.
- Play the sync pulse and compare when you hear it from each output.
- Add delay to the faster routed target in small increments. Use 1 ms steps to fine-tune within the supported 0–2,000 ms range.
- Repeat the listening comparison, then return to your intended source on Control when testing is finished.
Check the result
The outputs sound closer in time for the tested setup. This is a listening test, not automatic microphone calibration.
If something goes wrong
If the target is slower already, adding more delay cannot help it catch up. Reconsider the reference/default device. The direct Windows default cannot be delayed. Re-test after reconnecting devices or changing an audio processor such as FxSound.
