Set appearance, startup, and walkthrough preferences
Personalize PairChord and decide what happens when it opens.

Before you begin
Open Settings in the desktop interface. These preferences do not change the website’s language or appearance.
Step by step
- Choose a light, dark, or system theme, then your preferred primary accent color.
- Use the top navigation language selector for English, Simplified Chinese, or Malay.
- Set Open at Startup if you want PairChord to launch hidden in the Windows tray or macOS menu bar.
- Set Restore last configuration to restore selections and controls. Restored launch volume is capped at 75%; routing still waits for you.
- Replay the walkthrough from Settings or enable the optional device-test reminder. The first-run walkthrough can also be skipped.
Check the result
Your desktop preferences are saved. Starting PairChord or restoring a configuration does not automatically start routing.
If something goes wrong
If no window appears after startup, open PairChord from the tray/menu bar. A platform can report startup integration unavailable. Use the walkthrough again when you want help finding sources, output volume, calibration, or EQ.
